Hello!
I do not recommend the use of methylene blue during pregnancy.
What do you want to use this product for on your tonsils?
What are your symptoms? Fever, cough, pain, white secretions on your tonsils?
I'm waiting to hear from you!

Thanks for your reply.
I was starting to get a little sore throat. I usually dab my tonsils with an ear pick. It's not very pleasant, but it's very effective. :) I thought it was a pretty natural product, so it shouldn't be a problem. However if you don't recommend it, I will refrain from using it.
What products can we use if we have cough, nasal congestion, or a sore throat when we are pregnant? I don't have these symptoms yet, but every winter I get a cold easily...I would like to plan ahead and have some on hand, as I guess I can't take Benylin and the like.... I use the sinus rinse as soon as I start to get congested, I guess that's ok.

You are already on the right track! Indeed Sinus Rinse is a safe and effective option that is allowed in pregnancy. I highly recommend it since in addition to eliminating nasal congestion, it helps limit the amount of secretions that accumulate in the throat and subsequently cause coughing. For coughs, the most effective remedy in my opinion is simply a teaspoon of pasteurized honey. Its coating effect comes to soothe the throat and reduce the cough.
So these are the two little tips I recommend right off the bat and if it doesn't work, feel free to contact us again or consult your local pharmacist! :)
