I have a fractured ankle, should I immobilize it?

I broke my ankle on June 5 (non-displaced fracture). I had an x-ray. I see an orthopedist on June 7th only (RV) 1) should I take anti-inflammatory drugs or stop taking them? 2) should I immobilize my ankle with a boot, or walk on it?

Hello Mrs,
Unfortunately it is only possible to answer the first question, but more information is needed: Are you currently taking any medication? Do you have any allergies or intolerances? What symptoms do you have (pain, swelling, etc.)?

My mind is made up for this it was more the second question that remained unanswered. I'm trying to get my ankle immobilized by the time of my June 7th R-V
I would like to put the lab result on here but the tool to attach a PDF is not working.

Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately this question will have to be redirected to the physician as this is beyond the scope of practice of the pharmacy :(
