I have high blood pressure. osteoarthritis. I take 2 tylenols every 8 hours. I had a pulmonary embolism two years ago, I take medication for high blood pressure and for the embolism. I had a hernia operation in January and pneumonia in October. Thank you for your advice.

Hello Ma'am,
Sciatic nerve pain relief is unfortunately not well relieved by medication. In fact, I advocate a more hollistic approach, addressing the root of the problem.
To do this, instead of jumping on pain medication, I recommend you seek physical therapy. The physio will be able to perform certain maneuver to reduce the pain and prevent you from re-injuring yourself in the long run.
