I am 31 years old and have an 8 month old baby that I am breastfeeding. Can I get the Covid vaccine?

Hello Ma'am,
NACI recently issued an update recommending vaccination for pregnant and breastfeeding women who cannot wait due to their risk of getting COVID.
That being said, this recommendation is based on very, very little data at this time. That's why I would first recommend that women who are breastfeeding look to see if they are able to minimize their risk of getting it by reducing their contact with people who might have it. If so, I think we should wait until we have more data. If not, we can get the vaccine.
