My daughter has very swollen tonsils. She complains of a sore throat. She has had a fever for three days and seems to be fighting a virus. What can I do? Is the swollen tonsils related to a virus or should I consult? She has a fever of 38, by mouth She hasn't eaten in two days. She only eats a few bites of jello or applesauce

Hello ma'am, if I understand correctly, your child has had a fever for 3 days? How did you measure it, and what is the temperature? If your child has had a fever for 3 days (72 hours), that is an indication to see a doctor as soon as possible.
