My right tonsil is swollen, in my mouth it is darker red and from the outside I see a lump that gets bigger when I eat. What should I do?

The swollen lump goes all the way to my ear and it throws me off. The lump goes away a little, but not completely, about 30 minutes after eating. What I eat is sometimes sour (orange) and sometimes not (ex: sweet potato). The reaction is the same.

Good evening ma'am,
While this should not be dangerous in my opinion, I would recommend that you see a doctor so that you can get to the bottom of what is causing the symptoms you describe. Indeed, the doctor will need to examine the tonsil and do a physical examination of the jaw to find the exact cause.
Sorry I can't be more helpful at this time.
Happy evening,
