A friend at daycare has intestinal worms. I check every night to see if my son has them, but will I be able to see them and know that this is it?

Good evening ma'am,
Sorry first for the delay in response.
There is no need to check like this in my opinion. Although the presence of worms at daycare induces a risk for your boy, it is far from guaranteed that he will get them.
We would rather wait until the child complains of itching (especially at night, when worms come out to lay eggs). Either way, if you find them, you'll have to treat the whole household (whether it's tonight while "watching" or in a few days after your son complains of itching).
Trying,
