Whereas the absorption of this product might be very little, it is not recommended to consume this kind of ingredient (salicylates) because they pass through to the milk.

Besides, the structures of the back are very deep under the tissue and it is highly improbable that a topical product will reach that deep.

I recommend Tylenol for pain or ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin and other brands) if you do not have any contraindications (your pharmacist will be able to confirm that with you).
