Hello, I am allergic to Tylenol and Aspirin. I normally take ibuprofen. I have a lung problem. What should I do if I catch the coronavirus?

Hello Ma'am,
In my opinion, it would be best not to take anything if you start to get a headache, throat pain or aches.
According to some preliminary data that has yet to be validated, it may indeed be that taking anti-inflammatory drugs (Advil™, Motrin™, Aleve™, ibuprofen, naproxen) during a coronavirus infection can worsen symptoms (or delay optimal management).
This data comes to us from Europe, where several young patients have been hospitalized with coronavirus. It appears that many of them were taking them.
While it's not clear whether this represents a real causal link, I recommend not taking anti-inflammatory drugs to reduce flu symptoms (fevers, aches, headaches, sore throats) at this time.
Maybe we'll realize in a few weeks that this was just a coincidence, but for now, it's best not to take any chances.
Happy day,
