Hello, ma'am,
Would it be possible to know if you are currently taking other medications, if you have tried other options, and if you have ever consulted a doctor for this?

I am not taking any medication and have not yet consulted a doctor about this.

Thank you for the information, I'm sorry for the delay in my reply, I hadn't seen the notification!
First of all, I also suggest nasal hygiene with a saline solution (Hydrasense, Sinus Rinse and others), which can be done as often as necessary during the day, and at least 30 minutes before bedtime. By 'cleaning' the nasal secretions, symptoms such as nasal congestion and discharge, sneezing, and discharge down the throat can be greatly reduced. It's a little unpleasant but it works wonders!
An anti-histamine such as Aerius, Claritin or other can be tried for your symptoms. They are safe and you can get an idea of their effectiveness after 5-7 days.
If these measures are insufficient, I suggest that you consult your pharmacist who will evaluate the possibility of prescribing a corticosteroid nasal spray to help reduce the inflammation in the sinuses. This can be used in conjunction with the options listed above.
I hope I have been helpful, I will remain available if you have any further questions.
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
