Hello, don't worry, taking the oral contraceptive is not affected in your situation.
You would have to have diarrhea in a marked way for there to be a risk of losing the effectiveness of the contraception. At this point, a diarrhea event could be considered a "1-day contraceptive miss." If this were to occur in the future, preventive measures to counteract the risk of decreased pill effectiveness could be suggested by your pharmacist, depending on where you are in your cycle.
I hope I have answered your question.

For example, tonight I took my pill around 9:30 pm and a few minutes later I had a bowel movement. Technically, what I just passed was from the food I digested several hours before, not the pill I just ingested?

Exactly!
Count on about 24 hours before the contents of your stomach make their way to your colon.
Have a nice day,
