Do I have to go to the emergency room and wait for hours when I'm otherwise fine? Thank you very much!

Hello ! I had influenza 3 weeks ago. For a few days now, I have been having green fly and bad smell in my nose from time to time. Is this a sign of bacterial infection? No fever, no general malaise...

Hello and thank you for your question :)
Indeed, greenish nasal secretions throughout the day can be a sign of infection.
However, this is not a case for a hospital emergency room at all.
If you don't see any improvement in a few days, or if you have a fever, I suggest you see your family doctor.
If you don't have a family doctor, you can find an appointment on www.rvsq.gouv.qc.ca or on bonjoursante.ca.
A final option, but with a fee, is www.olivemedic.ca
I hope this helps a little :)
Have a good evening,
Emmanuelle
