My 2 year old has a cough and congestion and fever, what should I do?

My 2.5 year old child has had a fever (between 38.8 and 40) for 5 days. Advil at 6h tylenol at 4h. He coughs, is congested and has a blocked nose. Smiling, cheerful but tired, sweating and 1 episode of shivering. Drinks a lot of water. His twin sister has just started (36h) to have the same symptoms.

Hello ma'am, I'm sorry to read about his troubles! If your child has had a fever for 72 hours or more, you should see a doctor as soon as possible so that you don't delay treatment, if necessary.
