My child has a fever and spots in the throat?

You did the right thing with Tylenol or Advil. However, do not alternate them as one should be enough to relieve the fever. The combination is only under medical supervision.

If you wish, I can tell you the dose of one or the other if you provide me with your child's weight and the concentration of the product (Tylenol or Advil) that you wish to give him. If he has less appetite I would choose the Tylenol because it would be less irritating to the stomach.

Otherwise, only monitoring the symptoms is in order for now. Encourage your child to drink as much as possible.
