Hello, can I breastfeed after taking benadryl. Is my milk ok for baby and if not how long after is it ok?

Good evening!
Benadryl is safe to use while breastfeeding, but it is recommended that you monitor your baby as he or she may potentially be a little more drowsy when taking this medication.
Our first choices during breastfeeding for allergies are Claritin (Loratadine) and Reactin (Cetirizine) as they are less likely to cause drowsiness in the infant.
