It is indeed strongly recommended that you do not consume alcohol with the medications you are taking.
First, alcohol can worsen depressive and anxiety symptoms, even with small amounts. Alcohol can also worsen side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and nausea.
Alcohol can also decrease the quality of sleep, which in turn can worsen or trigger anxiety or depressive symptoms.
People with mood disorders such as anxiety or depression are at much higher risk for substance use disorders, including alcohol. Alcohol can impair judgment and this can be amplified in the presence of anxiety or depressive symptoms.
I would also like to point out, in general, that alcohol consumption is associated with a negative impact on physical, mental and psychological health.
Alcohol use can be occasional, such as 1-2 drinks. However, drinking 6-8 drinks a day, even if not every day, can be a problem for you and your health. Feel free to use them, I'm listing them below:
