How can I know whether my child has attention deficit disorder or not?

Hello. I have been taking Wellbutrin 300mg and Citalopram 40mg for about a year for anxiety. On weekends, I drink about 6-8 drinks a day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Often the beginning of the week is difficult. Anxiety, brain fog, malaise, etc..

Hello Sir,
It is indeed strongly recommended that you do not consume alcohol with the medications you are taking.
First, alcohol can worsen depressive and anxiety symptoms, even with small amounts. Alcohol can also worsen side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and nausea.
Alcohol can also decrease the quality of sleep, which in turn can worsen or trigger anxiety or depressive symptoms.
People with mood disorders such as anxiety or depression are at much higher risk for substance use disorders, including alcohol. Alcohol can impair judgment and this can be amplified in the presence of anxiety or depressive symptoms.
I would also like to point out, in general, that alcohol consumption is associated with a negative impact on physical, mental and psychological health.
Alcohol use can be occasional, such as 1-2 drinks. However, drinking 6-8 drinks a day, even if not every day, can be a problem for you and your health. Feel free to use them, I'm listing them below:

  • elsewhere in Quebec: 1 800 265-2626 )

Thank you so much for your quick response. I definitely need to cut down on my alcohol with my treatment to avoid the unpleasant feelings at the beginning of the week.
