I purchased a muscle relaxant over the counter (RobaxAcet - generic version), and it says to contact a health care professional before using it with antidepressants and sedatives. In my case, I am taking 187.5mg (DIE) of Venlafaxine and 0.5mg (PRN) of Clonazepam. Are there any risks or interactions between these two drugs and the muscle relaxant?

Hello Sir, thank you for your question!
There are no contraindications to taking this product with your medication but you have to keep in mind that it can cause a lot of drowsiness, just like your 2 medications. I therefore recommend to start at the lowest possible dose and to take it only if you stay at home and avoid activities requiring alertness.
I will remain available if you have any further questions!
