I would like to know if I can take my corticosteroid pump while pregnant?

Hello, I am 17 weeks pregnant and I have two young children at home. I have been in contact with a lot of viruses lately and I have a cough that persists and I feel that my bronchial tubes are inflamed. I take my bronchodilator pump.

This is the Flovent HFA 125 mcg pump I have here from an old cough I had. The expiration date has not passed yet.

Thanks for the feedback.

Flovent can be used during pregnancy safely in people with asthma in particular.

If you are not taking Flovent regularly, or if it has only been prescribed once, I suggest redirecting your question to your pharmacist who can double-check the prescription and directions for use.
