I would like to know if a pharmacist can remove this type of cap or how I can do it at home. Thank you for your help!

Hello, I have a wax plug in my ear. I woke up with it this morning. I slept on this ear all night.

Hello,
So far, have you tried any product to try to dislodge it?
Do you hear less well?
Do you have a lot of pain?

I cleaned it up with a Kleenex that's all I did. It blocks the sound a little bit, but not really a pain only a pressure sensation

Thanks for the clarification. You have a few options
  1. You can use a small amount of oil (mineral/vegetable/olive) that you heat for about 5 seconds in the microwave oven. With a syringe you can irrigate your ear canal. This can help dissolve earwax (which is more soluble in oily substances).
  2. Use Cerumol, available at the pharmacy, 5 drops in the affected ear (i.e., fill the ear canal) 2 to 3 times a day for 2 to 3 days as needed
  3. A pharmacy or clinic nurse can also wash the ear and mechanically dislodge the plug
I hope this answers your question
