It is quite difficult to see it clearly. However, as long as the extent of the lesions is not increasing and there are no new lesions, I would be of the opinion for now that the first line of treatment will be to apply, as often as needed, a fragrance-free moisturizer such as Aveeno, Cutibase, Base Glaxal, Cerave and others. The cream should be applied whenever the need to scratch arises.
Avoid scented soaps, and after the bath or shower, avoid rubbing the skin vigorously: instead, lightly pat the skin to leave a thin layer of moisture, and then apply the moisturizing cream within 5 minutes of leaving the bath.
If non-pharmacological measures are insufficient, a doctor should be consulted for a thorough assessment of the patient's needs.
