I have traces of bites on my body, how do I know which insect bit me?

Hello. My partner and I were stung in the night. We have 2-3 bites each. It itches a lot. At first the sting is white and swollen and then it becomes red.

I forgot to specify. You only get stung on the side. Around the navel or in the back

Good morning, ma'am,
when did you first notice this?
have you been on a trip, cottage, hotel or other recently?
would you be able to upload some well-lit images?
Have you tried anything about this problem?

A month or two ago it had already happened twice, a week apart. Then nothing. We went on vacation this summer yes in an Airbnb and last week too. And when we came back from that vacation, it happened again. I looked under the mattresses of the beds and I didn't see any bedbugs

Thanks for the feedback, I'm sorry for the delay in my response, I didn't see the notification!
It is quite difficult to see it clearly. However, as long as the extent of the lesions is not increasing and there are no new lesions, I would be of the opinion for now that the first line of treatment will be to apply, as often as needed, a fragrance-free moisturizer such as Aveeno, Cutibase, Base Glaxal, Cerave and others. The cream should be applied whenever the need to scratch arises.
Avoid scented soaps, and after the bath or shower, avoid rubbing the skin vigorously: instead, lightly pat the skin to leave a thin layer of moisture, and then apply the moisturizing cream within 5 minutes of leaving the bath.
If non-pharmacological measures are insufficient, a doctor should be consulted for a thorough assessment of the patient's needs.
I hope this has been helpful and I am available if you have any further questions!
