Advil = 10mg/kg/dose every 6-8h, max 4 doses = 81.8mg or 4ml from a 100mg/5ml bottle
Benadryl = see packaging for more conservative dose every 4-6 hours = 2.5ml from a 6.25mg/5ml bottle (be careful to use the children's bottle and not the adult elixir which contains some alcohol)
2.5 year old boy (26.5 lbs) = 12.04kg
