I would like to know the active ingredients of safe sunscreens for pregnant women and if mineral sunscreens are preferable? Thank you for your help!

Hello Ma'am,

All of the ingredients currently found in sunscreen products sold in Canada are theoretically compatible with pregnancy.

That said, I recommend only mineral sunscreens for pregnant women, as they are much less absorbed by the skin. So look for products that contain zinc oxide, such as certain products from Avene™ or LaRoche-Posay™.
