I would like to know how to stop the breast pain and coughing?

Hello I have had the flu since December 13, 2022. I did not have a fever but I coughed a lot! and I still cough. Less but still. I have a dry cough. I would like to know what I should do to make it go away. I have been taking for 3 weeks Ulone syrup 4x /day and advil cold at 6 h and sinus rinse. 3x a day. I have extreme pain in my left breast. It worries me a lot since I have a history of breast cancer.

Hello Madam, apart from the cough, do you have any other symptoms such as a blocked or runny nose?
Are you currently taking any other medications?

Hello,
I am super tired. But no runny or stuffy nose. I take medication daily but it's not related to the cough.
It's for anxiety

Thank you for the information.
Given its ineffectiveness, I would be inclined to suggest discontinuing Ulone, and I don't recommend Advil Cold & Sinus either as it can increase anxiety and symptoms of anxiety such as palpitations, tremors and insomnia.
Coughing is most often caused by sinus drainage into the throat, like a leaky faucet.
For this purpose, I suggest nasal hygiene with a saline solution (Hydrasense, Sinus Rinse and others), which can be done as often as necessary during the day, and at least 30 minutes before bedtime. By 'cleaning' the nasal secretions, we can reduce the feeling of pressure in the sinuses and prevent them from flowing backwards into the throat, which can be irritating.
I encourage you to drink plenty of fluids, cold or hot, as you prefer.
If the symptoms persist for more than 7 days without improvement, you should consult a doctor.
I hope I've been helpful and I'm available if you have any other questions!
