I would like to know, where can I get the information that will confirm that this drug is a generic and not an original?

I would like to know if APO TRAMADOL ACET 37.5/325 mg is generic or original?
Secondly, is APO NAPROXEN EC 500mg Co EC generic or original?
Last question: "What is the point of being authorized by the RAMQ i.e. TRAMACET Co.325mg/37.5 mg acetaminophen has a payment authorization (EXCEPTIONAL DRUG) if the pharmacy serves me the generic?

Thank you for the feedback, I am sorry for my delay!
Apo tramadol acet is a generic. The brand name drug, the original, is no longer marketed.
Apo naproxen EC is also a generic drug.
As I had previously responded to you, the RAMQ authorizes coverage of the active ingredient, which is the tramadol/acetaminophen combination, and not a specific brand name product.
Having said that, I find it difficult to see how you could receive the Tramacet product, since it is discontinued. The generic product contains the same active ingredients and is supposed to receive the same amount of them.
If you have noticed a change in your condition, I suggest that you discuss it with your pharmacist.
Sincerely
Tom Samaha, Pharmacist
