Hello Ma'am,

A partial receptor agonist works by binding to the target receptor, but not activating it as much as agonist. It can also act as an antagonist (blocker) of the receptor by taking the place of a molecule that normally binds to it (such as a neurotransmitter). In short, it regulates.
