Could it really be a return of diapers? Or more like a leftover lochia? Or maybe something else?

Hi, I gave birth a little over two months ago. I had lochia for about 5 weeks. About 2 weeks later, I started to have blood loss again (not much, but red and clear). At my postpartum appointment around 7 weeks, my doctor told me that it looked like menstruation (even though I'm exclusively breastfeeding). But it's been going on for a little over two weeks now, varying in intensity (sometimes just a trace, sometimes I need a towel, sometimes browner, sometimes redder). I have no pain, but my period has always averaged 5 days. This is my second delivery, and this situation did not happen to me during my first one. I am wondering how long I should start to worry or think about going to the doctor. Thank you.

Hello ma'am, if I understand correctly, you have been bleeding for 2 weeks?
Is it abundant or does it also vary towards spotting?

Yes, the bleeding has been going on for about two weeks. I would say it's generally more than spotting, but it's not very heavy either. I don't fill a sanitary napkin, but I do need more than a panty liner, if that gives any idea.

Thanks for the information. After 2 weeks, I would be inclined to wonder. If you do not notice a gradual decrease every day, I would suggest consulting, if only as a precaution.
Bleeding can occur up to 6 months after delivery, but not consistently every day.
I will be available if you have any further questions!
