I am breastfeeding and I took Tylenol for colds and sinuses, is it dangerous?

I am exclusively breastfeeding my 3 month old baby and I have a pretty bad cold, so I took 2 nightly Tylenol sinus cold pills. I will never take it again if it is not recommended. I used to always take them before. Can it affect the health of my baby? Or my milk? How long does it take to eliminate the medicine? Thank you 🙏

Thank you for your question!
Tylenol Cold and Sinus contains, among other things, pseudoephedrine, which can in some cases decrease milk production. As you mentioned, this product should be avoided
After taking a dose of medication, the only thing to do for now is to observe the situation
I hope this was helpful to you and if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me

Thank you very much for the answer. I still have a cold just a runny nose. What can I take?

The most effective and safe treatment is nasal hygiene with a saline solution such as Hydrasense or Sinus Rinse. This can be done as often as needed during the day and at least 30 minutes before bedtime.
It's a little uncomfortable but works extremely well!
I hope this helps, and if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
