Can I take advil or tylenol for colds and sinus if I am still breastfeeding 2/3 times a day?

Hello Ma'am,
Taking Tylenol and Advil while breastfeeding is safe for you and your baby. However, the Cold and Sinus combinations also contain pseudoephedrine (an oral decongestant). This is because pseudoephedrine may decrease milk production in some women or disrupt your baby's sleep.
For nasal congestion, I would recommend saline solutions such as Hydrasense or Sinus Rinse for example. If you want to take Tylenol Cold and Sinus, I suggest you monitor your milk production, the presence of irritability or sleep disturbances in your child and discontinue the medication accordingly if there is a change.
