I read on Google that you should not take Advil and Tylenol together?

I had an abces in my opinion 3 days ago I started to swell my cheeks so I had taken advil and tylenol combined to calm the pain and advil for the inflammation I just saw on google in several places that you should not take anti inflammatory at the risk of aggravating it is this true or is it why I swelled a lot of face it's on my top pallet, i took advil and tylenol i thought i could but when i googled it said not to take anti inflammatory so that's why i'm wondering if i did the right thing considering how my face swelled up

Good morning, ma'am, Just to make sure I understand the situation, you have taken Tylenol and Advil. You mention having an abscess, could you please indicate where it is? Thanks for the feedback! I don't see why it would be contraindicated to take an anti-inflammatory for this, especially since it is among the most prescribed class of drugs by dentists, unless you have a contraindication (allergy, pregnancy, high blood pressure and others).
