Hi, yesterday I gave my baby Advil every 8 hours. Should I give him Tylenol instead?

My baby is 7 1/2 months old and weighs 22 lbs. The top incisors, as well as the laterals, came through at the same time. So my baby seems to be in pain. I wasn't sure if I should give him Advil or Tylenol... I'm wondering if I should give him Tylenol instead.

On the other hand, the Advil did help with baby's pain. I gave 1.4 ml according to the dosage on the package. I relied on weight, not age.

Hello Ma'am,
For your baby, depending on their age, Advil or Tylenol are both good choices. Advil should preferably be taken with food, which is sometimes more difficult with a child. In your case, you are already giving the Advil and it is effective in relieving your baby's pain, so I would continue this treatment. The dosage based on weight is adequate!
