Can a gravol suppository be given to a 16-month-old child weighing 26 pounds?

We are going on a car trip of about 18 hours and we want to make sure that baby's aches are less intense in the car. Despite the planned breaks, we would like to offer her the best possible care so that she feels good during the trip.

Hello, Madam,
If I understand correctly, it is for motion sickness?
30-year-old woman · 2 years ago
Yes, exactly. It presents a lot of discomfort in the car.

Thank you for the feedback
The dose of Gravol is 1 to 1.25mg of medication per kg of your child's weight, 45 to 60 minutes before departure. This is equivalent to 1/2 25mg suppository for him/her.
Be careful, this product can cause a lot of drowsiness, or a lot of excitement in the very young. If so, I suggest a quarter of a suppository.
I hope I have been helpful to you, and if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me

Great thanks for your answer. If I give it to him in syrup what would be the dose to administer at that time?

Since the liquid is concentrated at 15mg per 5ml, the dose is 4ml to be given 45-60 minutes before departure. Again, reduce by half if you notice any adverse effects.
