I gave birth on October 1, 2019. I had an IUD inserted a few weeks after.

I had my IUD removed on October 2, 2020 to have another child and I had my first period from October 4 to 7. I had unprotected sex afterwards and since October 19 I have had my period again. Is this normal?

Hello,
Following the removal of the IUD, the hormonal cycle does not immediately resume its normal course. In fact, the first bleeding that you have had is more like bleeding from the removal of the IUD. Afterwards, ovulation resumes, but it may take 2 or 3 cycles to reach stability.
During the process, there may be irregular and/or unpredictable periods in the first 3 months. After this period, the periods return to normal.
The other possibility as well is that if you had unprotected sex during your risk period and pregnancy results, implantation bleeding may occur in some cases
I hope that answers a little bit. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
In any case, if you have any doubt, you should take a pregnancy test in the next few days to be sure.
