Hello to you,
The products available in pharmacies that claim to be effective in increasing libido are not supported by valid scientific studies!
In this context, if you are not taking medication (and therefore the cause of your loss of libido cannot be explained by a pharmacological cause), I would invite you to consult a sexologist!
According to the OPSQ, sexologists are "professionals who have a bachelor's or master's degree in sexology or equivalent training recognized by the Order. This training is centered on the understanding of sexual behavior and development of the person as well as on the learning of knowledge, know-how and life skills aimed at improving, maintaining or restoring sexual health."
Just as when you suffer a sprained ankle, the pharmacist will refer you to the physiotherapist, I am happy to refer you to a sex therapist.
You could also talk to your family doctor at your next appointment to try to find a medical cause.
I hope that I have answered your question correctly,
Stéphane Villeneuve, pharmacist
