Hello,
There are other over the counter medications that are more effective against a toothache such as Acetaminophen with codeine. It makes a real difference. You must ask for it at the prescription counter and the pharmacist will be able to tell you how to use it or combine it. This is a temporary solution and will give you more relief until you see a dentist.
