I have a lump under my armpit, what should I do?

Hello, about a week ago I discovered a lump in my left armpit. I discovered it because at first it was quite painful and at first I thought it was a pimple that was growing but after a few days the pain disappeared. It's not a pimple there's nothing on the surface of the skin it's really inside. Should I be worried?

Good morning, ma'am,
If I understand correctly, is the feeling of a lump still there or has it disappeared?

No, it's still there!

Thanks for the feedback!
This can happen if you feel the nodes that are in the area. A little swelling doesn't necessarily indicate a problem though, as long as it's mild and temporary
I encourage you not to touch or massage the area to avoid irritating it. If the situation persists for more than 3 weeks without improvement, I suggest consulting a physician, if only as a precaution.
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
