Use of the Lax a day has a baby of 6 months.

Hello, the pharmacist advised me to give Lax a day for a temporary constipation of my 6 months old baby. He told me to put 1/4 measure in 1/4 cup of liquid. I put him in water but 1/4 cup of water at once is a lot for a baby in addition to his milk and meals. Is there a way that I can prepare the mixture and give it to him little by little throughout the day? a little in his cereal, a little in a glass, a little mixed with his compotes? or do I have to give it to him all at once? Once the powder and liquid mixture is made how long can I keep it? Thank you very much. and also I'm breastfeeding so she's not very good with the cup and she doesn't take the bottle ;-)

Hello,
I can double check the dose as needed if you can tell me what his current weight is?
Until then, it would indeed be ideal to give him the dose all at once, or give small portions consecutively until the full dose is given. It is ideal to mix the powder with water or juice (for adults, we also say coffee, tea or soft drink)... in short, as long as it is liquid. Milk or applesauce might not work, as they are slightly solid.
For the shelf life of the mixture, I couldn't find any specific information on this, but it's no more than a few hours if not 24 hours max.
I hope this answers your questions. If there is anything else, please feel free to contact me again and I will be happy to answer.
Cordially,

Hello, Thank you for your reply. I will try the unsweetened apple juice maybe she will have more interest in taking it all at once. ;-) she weighs 6.97 kg.

Depending on his weight, the dose can vary between 10-40% of a 17g scoop, so 1/4 scoop is actually appropriate and correct for your baby. Keep me posted on whether or not the apple juice works.
Happy day!

Thank you so much for your quick response! It is very much appreciated. I will update you tomorrow when I try to give her some more since today she still ingested a small amount.
