32-year-old woman2 years ago
I've had bartholinitis for 10 days, it's my 4th but my 2nd which doesn't drain on its own Homemade miracle trick or do I really have to go wait in the emergency room?

Hello ma'am, I'm sorry to read about your troubles!
Unfortunately, this type of condition, when persistent, must be evaluated and treated by a physician. While waiting to consult a doctor, I strongly suggest that you take a sitz bath in warm water for 15 to 20 minutes 3 to 4 times a day
Painkillers such as Tylenol or Advil (if you have no contraindications to taking them, your pharmacist will be able to confirm this) can also help relieve the pain.
I hope I've been helpful, and I'm available if you have any other questions!
Sincerely,
Tom Samaha, pharmacist
