Pregnancy test: The non-pregnant line appeared quickly, but the 2nd line that means pregnant came 3 to 5 minutes later. How to interpret the result of the pregnancy test?

I'm on day 31 of my cycle, I haven't had my period and I want to get pregnant for my first child.

Good evening to you,
According to the results of the test, it is very likely that you are pregnant! So I'm thinking of giving you some great news tonight......!!! The next step will be to schedule appointments with your doctor to plan your follow-ups.
Don't hesitate to consult your pharmacist for advice throughout your pregnancy. If you are not currently taking folic acid and a multivitamin, ask your pharmacist to prescribe them for you. Your pharmacist can also prescribe medication for nausea, if it occurs.
I wish you all the best for the future👶🎉

Hello Michaël,
thank you for your answer.
I finally took a digital test when I got home from work and it turns out I am indeed 2-3 weeks pregnant. 😊
Since the line this morning was very pale, I was very unsure
Should I take prenatal vitamins even though I am eating a healthy diet?

Great!!! Very nice news!!! 🤩
It is indeed best to take a multivitamin with 1mg of folic acid (ex Materna or house brand equivalents) until 4-6 weeks postpartum. If it is not tolerated (e.g. heartburn), it can be stopped, but at least the folic acid should be continued.
Do you or your partner have a history of neural tube defects at birth? If you don't know what I'm talking about, that's a good sign!
In any case, I suggest that you see your pharmacist to get a prescription. Some private insurances cover multivitamins and/or folic acid.
Don't forget that taking a vitamin supplement does not make it any less necessary to eat a healthy and balanced diet, as you already do!
Good evening to you,
Michaël
