Skin thinned out underarms I had a problem with redness and swelling as if every follicle was swollen and the doctor had prescribed lotriderm. Since not covered I was doing a betaderm 1% cr./clotrimaderm 50/50 mixture applied until healed a 5 to 7 days

If you applied the cream for 7 days, it is very unlikely, if not impossible, that it thinned the skin. This happens with very prolonged use.
