Hello Ma'am,
I am sorry to read about your trouble!
  • How long have you had this problem?
  • Do you report persistent sore throat, do you have any other symptoms like stuffy or runny nose, even a little? Coughing or anything else?
  • Are you currently taking any other medications?
  • What do you mean by recurring sore throats?
Thank you!

Thanks for the feedback!
For the frequent runny nose, I would be strongly inclined to suggest taking an anti-histamine such as Claritin, Aerius, Reactin or the like. These are the best agents to prevent mucus from flowing down the throat, which could be contributing to your symptoms. You can get a good idea of their effectiveness after 3-5 days.
I also suggest nasal hygiene with a saline solution (Hydrasense, Sinus Rinse and others), which can be done as often as needed during the day, and at least 30 minutes before bedtime.
I also encourage you to drink plenty of fluids, cold or hot depending on your preference.
If the situation persists for more than 10 days without improvement, a doctor should be consulted.
I hope this has been helpful, please don't hesitate if you have any further questions!
