My 10-month-old daughter has roseola?

Hello, my 10 month old daughter seems to have roseola which would have been transmitted to her by her older sister of almost 3 years. She seems to be itching, is there anything I could give her ( benadryl, .. ) She weighs more or less 17 lbs.

Hello, thank you for your question!
Roseola rashes are usually not itchy. I suggest non-pharmacological measures, such as applying colloidal oatmeal cream like Aveeno (fragrance-free) as often as necessary.
There are also colloidal oatmeal packets that can be sprinkled on the bath water when your baby is already in the water. After the bath, avoid rubbing the skin to dry it, instead, pat it to leave some moisture and apply the moisturizer over it quickly afterwards. You can apply this cream as often as you like, there is no maximum per day.
I hope I've been of some help to you and I'm available if you have any other questions!
