Hello, for a few weeks I have had orange stools. Everything else is normal (texture, etc.), I have no other symptoms and no history. Does this require a consultation with the doctor?

Hello,
You need to clarify what a few weeks means (months?), then also monitor if there have been any dietary changes that may explain the orange coloration. What is certain is that the coloring that would require a quick consultation is dark red or even black (this could be an intestinal bleeding that is found in your stool, especially if the stool is dark and abnormally smelly). In the meantime, if your stool doesn't look like bleeding (blood spots, clots, dark or black stool), the orange coloring may not be an immediate concern. However, if it lasts for months, a question to your doctor or a nutritionist might be helpful to make sure it's not a lingering health problem.
Hopefully this answers your question!

It's been recurring for about a month, but not necessarily constant

It's a pleasure! Keep an eye on your diet, and then if other symptoms appear. Have a nice evening!
