Is it safe to give vicks babyrub to a 6 month old baby? In the directions they say it is from 3 months.

Of course I give my coco nasal irrigations several times a day, I give him nasal aspirations with the babyvac 2-3 times a day. In his room I use a vicks humidifier for the night which helps him breathe better and has been having great nights since, I would like to use the vicks babyrub for a short time as I will not have access to the humidifier at the cottage for the night so I would love your opinion on the babyrub thanks!

Hello!
You are doing good measures presently for your baby it's perfect. Be careful however with the maintenance of the humidifier, follow the recommendations for cleaning to the letter to avoid the proliferation of mold.
Article summarizing the subject to be read.
Concerning the Babyrub, it can be used as early as 3 months old according to the company so it is safe. Be careful though, you have to avoid the eyes and it is recommended for external use only. So it's a little tricky for babies who might touch and put their hands in their mouths afterwards. It's up to you depending on your child.
Also, babies' skin is more delicate and fragile, so there may be a risk of reaction on the skin. If you use it, I would suggest trying it on a small area first.
Bref, this is not a first choice, but can be used with the precautions mentioned above.
Hopefully this is helpful to you,
Happy day!
