What to do about itchy anus?

Hello, for about 1 week and a half I have a lot of itching in my anus. The more I wipe, the more it hurts and it's not pleasant at all... It's very irritated and it goes up to the crack.
Do you know if there is a cream or other that I can take to relieve it in the free section at the pharmacy or do I have to consult a doctor?

Indeed, Anusol Plus ointment can be applied to the inside and outside of the anus twice a day and after each bowel movement if needed
Do you have other symptoms such as constipation or diarrhea?

My stools are much less solid and more frequent, but I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Otherwise, no constipation

I would suggest, in this case and as a pure precaution, that you clean yourself after a bowel movement with unscented wet wipes (or a bidet if you have one!), as this can be much less irritating to the area than toilet paper.
If this is not the case, I also suggest getting up as soon as you are done. Some people will read the paper or use their phone, but this position can make the problem worse.
