Thanks for the information!
The basis of the treatment will be nasal hygiene with a saline solution such as Hydrasense, Sinus Rinse and others, which can be done as often as necessary during the day, and at least 30 minutes before bedtime. By 'cleaning' the nasal secretions, we can reduce their backward flow, which often causes coughing and throat irritation. This is a bit unpleasant but works wonders!
Lozenges like Halls or Fisherman's Friend are also safe during pregnancy for local throat relief. Acetaminophen is a good option for pain too. I encourage you to drink plenty of fluids, cold or hot, as you prefer.
All of this can be taken at the same time as the Materna.
These measures will be more effective than Neo-Citran, and also can be used as often as needed (aside from taking acetaminophen), unlike Neo-Citran.
Finally, if you have not yet seen your doctor, or if you have not received a prescription for nausea/vomiting during pregnancy, your pharmacist can prescribe you these same treatments, following a very short consultation.
I hope I've been helpful, so please don't hesitate if you have any further questions
