I have a delayed period while taking the contraceptive pill

I take the birth control pill Yaz every day and almost always at the same time (+/- 3 hours). Usually I take the pill three months in a row, but last month I decided to have my "period" and this month too. So I've been taking my placebo pills, but I'm now on my third flour pill out of 4, and I still have no sign of a period. Should I be worried about pregnancy?

Hello Mrs., thank you for your question! If you have taken your Yaz tablets without missing any, it is unlikely that you are pregnant You should keep in mind that the Yaz schedule is a bit unusual: 24 combined hormone tablets, followed by 4 inactive tablets. It is therefore very normal that you do not have your withdrawal bleeding during the 4 days of inactive tablets. They may occur a little later.
