Hi, can you tell me what an astringent agent does? I read on a medication box that an astringent agent was included but not sure what it meant.Thanks!

Hello!

An astringent is a product or ingredient with the ability to contract and/or dry up mucous membranes. It can give the sensation of tighter skin for creams for example.
