Hello,
It may be normal, in some circumstances, to take Reactin and Benadryl at the same time. Benadryl is a 1st generation antihistamine: its sedative effect will probably help more to reduce your itching symptoms, but this one is of short action (about 6 hours). Reactin, being a 2nd generation antihistamine, does not cause any sedation, but has a longer effect (24 hours). It might therefore be interesting to take Reactine in the morning and to use Benadryl only in the late evening (or if you do not intend to perform any activity requiring great vigilance)
The choice of prescriber is appropriate to allow for more continuous relief of allergic reaction symptoms during the day
