My daughter is taking antibiotics and has red patches?

My 1 year old daughter is taking pro amox to treat an ear infection. She has to take 9,5ml for 10 days 2x. We are on day 7 and yesterday she started to get red patches on her body (back, neck, behind her ears and forehead a little).

Hello, thank you for your question!
This kind of reaction can happen, it is called "delayed reaction". In the absence of other plausible causes, we can consider that amoxicillin is involved. This is not a life-threatening reaction, but it should be managed. I strongly urge you to contact the pharmacy where the antibiotic was served to advise them of the situation. A medical re-evaluation may also be necessary to assess the extent of the reaction and treatment of the ear infection.
I hope I have been helpful, I remain available if you have any further questions!
