Is it possible to have a miscarriage at 5 weeks at the same time as my period?

Hello, I am currently on my period. I was 3 days late and usually I am like clockwork. I had a different discharge than usual and my belly pain was a little more intense and also very different than usual.

A delayed period can occur without necessarily indicating a problem. The change in appearance can also be benign.

As for the miscarriage question, it's not impossible, but it's impossible to determine whether it was a pregnancy that ended or your period.
